The site is an old apartment. The name, “White Light in a Box: Minimalist Lifestyle Aesthetics”, reveals the minimalist aesthetics conveyed by the core concept of white and a cube. The name also signifies the subtle fusion of space and light to provide a modern and harmonious residence for the occupants.
The client is looking forward to converting a three-room into a two-room one, and at the same time expanding the social area. The designer used hidden doors and film to enhance the sense of spaciousness. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are integrated into a unit with a unified line design. High-quality materials such as marble, wood veneer, and moru glass, together with hidden equipment, create a neat and organized look. The designer transformed a 40-year-old apartment into a comfortable, modern home that meets the client’s expectations. The space is spacious, bright, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, providing a relaxing and enjoyable living experience.

業主期待將原本的三居室改為兩居室，同時擴大公區空間。經過兩人的深度溝通後，設計師以簡約為核心，運用隱藏門設計。他認為，貼膜能夠長期保留表面潔淨，也能給人更佳的質感感受。全屋大面積使用貼膜，提升設計持久度，因該材質更耐磨損且堅固耐久。通過巧妙佈局與工藝手法，最終營造出明亮寬敞且功能齊全的宜居之家。
The client is looking forward to converting a three-room into a two-room one, and at the same time expanding the social area. After an in-depth communication between the two of them, the designer focused on minimalism and applied a hidden door design. He felt that the film would retain the cleanliness of the surface for a long period of time, and also provide a better texture. A large area of the room is covered with the film to enhance durability, as the material is more resistant to wear and tear and is stronger and more durable. Through clever layout and craftsmanship, the designer created a bright, spacious, and functional home.

Furthermore, the designer utilized lines flexibly. The unified design and layout of the ceiling, walls, and cabinets make the vertical and horizontal lines more clear. The designer made perfect use of the lines to strengthen the extensibility, and at the same time, make the whole space more refined and fashionable. Furthermore, the designer installed hidden equipment, such as air conditioning and appliances into the ceiling or cabinetry to keep the space tidy.

The project has a variety of high-grade building materials, such as marble, wood veneer, and moru glass to create a warm and noble atmosphere. A suspended structure behind the TV provides space for the equipment. The marble platform adjacent to the window is about 40cm thick, echoing the structure. At the same time, the hidden doors make the space look tidy. Selected materials and design techniques enhance the overall aesthetics.

這個室內設計占地約22坪，包含兩間臥房及兩個起居室。
原本為三房結構，設計師巧妙外衣包裹原有樑柱，賦予視覺舒適感，並將空調隱蔽其中，保持空間整潔俐落。電視牆原位調整，與陽臺相接處加入長虹玻璃元素，令整個家居空間更顯開放寬闊，滿足業主對明亮居所的期待。精細化設計，讓空間得到最大限度利用，達到功能與舒適兼備的效果。
The site is 72.7 square meters in size and contains two bedrooms and two living rooms.
There were three rooms. The designer wrapped the beams and columns to create a stress-free visual experience and installed air-conditioning to keep the space clean. The TV wall was adjusted in situ, and a moru glass was installed on the balcony to realize the openness and spaciousness, satisfying the client’s expectation for a bright home. The detailed design maximizes the use of space and achieves both functionality and comfort.

The space is modeled after a modern living room, skillfully integrating simplicity and tranquility into the rhythm of the city. Wide windows reflect the cityscape like a picture frame, giving the space a sense of endless vitality and openness. Light colors create a relaxing atmosphere, while textured sofas and carpets serve as decorations. Linear lighting traces geometric patterns on the ceiling, giving the room a more spacious look. The stained-glass ceiling behind the TV wall has a cyberpunk look, a display of technology and beauty.
It’s the perfect place to relax. After a busy day, one can lounge on the soft sofa and enjoy the view of the city from the window as if it were part of the art wall.
